GALASSI & ORTOLANI PINCH VALVES
Pinch Valves are full bore valves. They are also known as Slurry Valves as they are extensively used in the Mining Industry to handle Abrasive & Corrosive slurry. The unique construct of the valve with an elastomer sleeve inside ensures that the flow media does not touch the metal portion of the valve.
Pinch valves do not incorporate any stuffing box and are leak tight on all liquids, slurries, granular materials, powders, pastes, acids etc.. Sleeve (internal rubber) is supported during opening and closing, hence the possibility of using these valves even under vacuum operation and the sleeves are easily replaceable without any special tools. The wide range of available elastomer materials enables an appropriate selection for different applications & flow media, and is a guarantee of perfect resistance to corrosion and abrasion.
Pinch valves are linear motion valves that can be used as On/Off, throttle and to control the flow of the media and this helps in managing the flow of the media without any loss of head.
